November-March: Applications open. Please read carefully the information about the scheme, and then apply online.

March-May: If your application is successful, initial interviews take place. These will either be held in person at a Doosan Babcock location close to your home, or by telephone. We will contact you by email or telephone to arrange a convenient time to meet or speak to you. The interviewer will ask about your career plans, your interest in the scheme and motivation for applying, and will answer any further questions you have about the scheme.

May-July: If your initial interview is successful, we will invite you, and your parents/guardians if they wish, to attend an assessment day at Tipton. It involves a mixture of theory and practical assessment exercises, and a chance to have a tour of the training facilities, to meet those involved in the scheme, and to ask any questions. The appropriate protective clothing and equipment is supplied, lunch is provided, and we will contribute towards any travel expenses incurred.

July-September: Offers, reserve and unsuccessful letters will be forwarded to candidates.

August/September: Scheme starts.
